David R. Frank - Varsity Head Coach

Coach Frank took over running the the MUHS Tennis Program in 2005
(following a Fr. Rob Kroll's successful tenure) after serving as an
assistant coach in 2004.  David was a four-year Varsity Tennis
letter-winner at MUHS, graduating in 1999.  He played on four WISAA
State Championship Teams.  Frank is most proud of moving the
Tennis Program to a No-Cut Program in 2009 and  winning the
Sportsmanship Awards at the 2008 & 2015 State Tournaments.  He
stresses the Team concept of high school tennis as well as the "men
for others" mission taught by the Jesuits to each of his players.  David
attributes much of his coaching success to the tutelage he received
over his four years of playing under Coach Donovan in the late 1990s.
The team has won ten WIAA Team State Championships (2007,
2008,2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016 & 2017) under his
tenure in addition to the two earned with Fr. Kroll in 2002 & 2003.
